3.1 General rights

You have a right of access, rectification, cancellation, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data transferability. If processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke it for the future.

3.2 Rights in data processing according to legitimate interest

According to Art. 21 para.1 GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you on the basis of Art. 6 para.1 e GDPR (data processing in the public interest) or Article 6 para.1 f GDPR (data processing to protect a legitimate interest), this also applies to profiling based on this provision. In the event of your objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can prove compelling grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

3.3 Rights in direct advertising

If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right pursuant to Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising, this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct marketing.

4 Collection of personal data when you visit our website

When using the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR:

• IP address: To access web pages from the Centre for Political Beauty, the short-term registration of the IP number is indispensable. The IP address is the worldwide valid, unique identification of a computer and consists of four number blocks separated by dots. Usually, as a private user, you will not use a constant IP address, as your provider will only assign it to you temporarily for a session. Nevertheless, a clear assignment of user data via this feature is possible in principle for static IP addresses. Our web servers only store IP addresses to the extent necessary to provide the services. Otherwise the IP addresses will be deleted or made anonymous. Our server stores your IP address for a maximum of 7 days to detect and defend against attacks.

Without these data it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the contents of the website. In this respect, the collection of data is absolutely essential. We reserve the right to subsequently check the log files in case of suspicion of illegal use of our offer.

5 Contact via e-mail or contact form

When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address, if applicable your name and your telephone number) will be stored by us in order to be able to answer your questions and ask possible follow-up questions.

For all queries of data via a contact form, the requirement of data economy, which follows from Art. 5 GDPR (principles relating to the processing of personal data), is in the foreground. We only collect the data necessary to respond to your inquiry. The collected data will only be collected for the corresponding purpose and deleted after the purpose has been fulfilled.

6 On-call humanists

You can register online with us as a helper via our on-call humanist form. Your data will be forwarded to us via an encrypted connection and will of course be treated confidentially. We will use your data exclusively for our readiness humanists internal file and will not pass it on to third parties. The form is provided by JotForm. In the on-call humanists internal registration form, we ask for your name, your name, location, telephone number, e-mail address and the area in which you can offer your readiness. Title and name, as well as telephone number and e-mail address, we need in order to address you and to be able to contact you at short notice. The location is important for us to be able to contact you for location-based actions. The indication of the area in which you offer your willingness, we need, in order to be able to contact you according to your information there.

If you submit the data entered in the form by clicking on the following send button, you agree to our using your data for the purpose of contacting you in accordance with Art. 6 Para.1 a GDPR. The use and processing of the data serves beside the establishment of contact to consider you as a helper with actions. You can of course revoke this consent at any time in the future.

We delete the data arising in this context after the storage is no longer necessary, or limit the processing if statutory retention obligations exist. A transfer to third parties does not take place unless applicable data protection regulations justify a transfer or we are legally obliged to do so. You can inform yourself at any time about the data stored about your person. Please use the contact details listed under 1.

7 Newsletter

With your consent according to art. 6 par. 1 a GDPR you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about our work and our current campaigns. To subscribe to our newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after your registration we will send you an e-mail to the given e-mail address in which we ask you to confirm that you would like to receive the newsletter. Within the framework of this procedure, the order of the newsletter, the sending of the confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the registration confirmation are recorded. If you do not confirm your registration, your information will be deleted after 60 days.

A valid e-mail address is required to receive the newsletter. The IP address you use to subscribe to the newsletter and the date on which you subscribe to the newsletter are also stored. This data serves us as proof of misuse if an external e-mail address is registered for the newsletter.

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. Your e-mail address will be stored as long as your subscription to the newsletter is active.

We send the newsletter with the program Direct Mail of the provider e3 Software, LLC, 465 Fairchild Drive, Suite 229, Mountain View, CA 94043 (USA). For an e-mail campaign such as sending a newsletter, a copy of our e-mail campaign is sent to the servers of e3 Delivery Service. e3 Delivery Service uses this data to send our newsletter. 7.1 Newsletter Tracking

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter. We record whether the newsletter has been opened. The data is collected exclusively pseudonymised.

8 Applications

You can apply online using our assistance and internship form. Your online application will be forwarded directly to the HR department via an encrypted connection and will of course be treated confidentially. Your details will of course only be used to process your application and will not be passed on to third parties. The form is provided by JotForm. In the application form for interns we ask for your name, city, telephone number, e-mail address, year of birth and request a picture of you. We need your name, telephone number and e-mail address in order to be able to contact you at short notice. We need the location to be able to contact you if an internship position is advertised at short notice. By indicating your year of birth, we can determine whether you are of legal age. Your image helps us to recognize you as a real person.

If you submit the data entered in the form by clicking on the following send button, you agree to our using your data for the purpose of contacting you in accordance with Art. 6 Para.1 a GDPR. In addition to contacting us, the use and processing of the data serves to consider you for an application procedure for an internship. You can of course revoke this consent at any time in the future.

Your personal data will be deleted immediately after completion of the application process or after a maximum of 24 months, unless you have expressly given us your consent for a longer storage of your data or a contract has been concluded. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 a, b and f GDPR and § 26 BDSG.

9 Use of Cookies

When you use our website, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk in the browser you use and through which certain information flows to the place that sets the cookie. YouTube videos that are stored on YouTube (YouTube, LLC.901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, or Google Inc., Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) are included on our website but can be played directly on our website in order to present and explain the corresponding contents to you on our website (Art.6 Para.1 f GDPR).

We have embedded videos of the service Vimeo, Inc, 555 West 18th Street, New York, NY 10011, USA, on our site. These are stored by Vimeo, but can be played directly on our website for the reasons mentioned above (Art.6 para.1 f GDPR).

10.1 Embedding YouTube videos

By integrating the videos, YouTube or DoubleClick cookies (see point 9) can be set (see point 14.1) and data can be transferred to the USA. These are e.g. your IP address and cookie ID, the specific address of the page called up by us, system date and time of the call, identification of your browser. 11 Website analysis

For the purpose of analysing and optimising our websites we use various services, which are described below. For example, we can analyze how many users our site visit, which information is most in demand or how users find the offer. Among other things, we collect data about the website from which a person has accessed a website (so-called referrer), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a subpage was viewed. This helps us to design and improve our website in a user-friendly way. The data collected is not used to personally identify individual users. Anonymous or at most pseudonymous data is collected. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR.

11.1 Use of Statcounter

This website uses Statcounter (operator: StatCounter, Guinness Enterprise Centre, Taylor's Lane, Dublin 8, Ireland), a web analysis service from Ireland whose functions are very similar to Google Analytics. Statcounter uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Statcounter on servers in the United States. Statcounter may use this information to evaluate your use of the Website, to compile reports on Website activity for Website Operators and, where applicable, to generate other statistics relating to Website and Internet use (for example, Statcounter Global Stats).

12 Online services (newsletter and donation form)

If you register for one of our personalized online services, such as subscribing to the newsletter or donating online, we will ask you for your name and other personal information we need. The legal basis for this data processing is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR. Under no circumstances will we use your personal data for other purposes without your consent. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose of its collection and there are no legal retention periods to the contrary.

In principle, your data is transmitted to us in encrypted form to prevent access by unauthorized third parties. Your data is stored on specially protected servers. Access is only possible to a few specially authorised persons, all of whom are familiar with the relevant data protection regulations.

If you donate to the Centre for Political Beauty or become an accomplice, we will use your contact and payment details to complete the transaction.

12.1 Newsletter
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data will not be collected or will only be collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties. The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the purpose has ceased to exist. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. Our donation forms are provided by the "Fundraisingbox". We have chosen this provider to always guarantee the highest data security for your data. Your personal data will be transmitted to us via a secure connection. The payment data is transferred directly to the respective payment service provider using an encrypted connection. 13 Social Media plug-ins

We integrate plug-ins from the social network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) and the service Twitter (Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA) on our websites. These plug-ins allow you to get in touch with us on the respective platform low-threshold and inform us about new promotions.

13.1 Facebook Social Plug-in

If you call one of our websites with Twitter Plug-in, a direct connection is established with Twitter. We have no influence on the type and scope of data collected, stored and processed by Twitter. We can only inform you according to our level of knowledge.

14 Advertising

14.1 Doubleclick by Google

We use DoubleClick, a service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). The service is integrated via YouTube. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve user-based ads. The use of DoubleClick cookies enables Google and its partner websites to serve ads based on previous visits to our or other websites on the Internet. The cookies recognize which ad has already been placed in your browser and whether you have called up a website via a placed ad. Affected persons are all users of our online offer. The legal basis for the use of Google DoubleClick is our legitimate interest in optimising our online offer and promoting our campaigns, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

14.2 Facebook Custom Audiences / Facebook Pixels

As part of an ad campaign to support our work, we use the Custom Audiences service of Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA). To this end, we use the Facebook ad manager to define user target groups based on specific features that are subsequently displayed on our content within the social network. Facebook selects users based on the profile information they provide and other data provided through the use of Facebook. When a*e user clicks on an ad and then gets to our website, Facebook receives information about whether or not the user has supported us via the Facebook pixel embedded on our website.

Basically, a non-reversible and non-personal checksum (hash value) is generated from your usage data, which is transmitted to Facebook for analysis and marketing purposes. A Facebook cookie is set. This collects information about your activities on our website (e.g. surfing behaviour, visited sub-pages, etc.). Your IP address is also stored and used for geographical control of advertising. After submitting the petition or protest form, the user is given the opportunity to confirm participation by clicking on a link (e-mail notification) as part of the double opt-in procedure. This page view by the user is registered by Facebook via the Facebook pixel. In this case, the user will then be shown a "Become a Sponsor" message on the social network. If the confirmation link is not clicked, the user will subsequently see a "Please confirm" screen on Facebook. We do not use Facebook Custom Audiences via the customer list or the "extended comparison" function.

For more information about the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your setting options to protect your privacy, please refer to the privacy policy of Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation). You can set which ads you see on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen#_=_ and in the account settings on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/settings?resurrect_cookie=1#_=_). At https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads#_=__ you can deactivate the remarketing function "Custom Audiences". You need to be logged in to Facebook.

The transmission of data to the USA is permitted under Art. 45 DSGVO, as Facebook Privacy Shield is certified and therefore an adequate level of data protection exists in accordance with the implementing decision of the Commission (EU) 2016/1250 (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/DE/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32016D1250). The legal basis for the described data processing is a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f DSGVO, namely the promotion and targeted advertising of actions.

14.3 Twitter Conversion Tracking 

In the course of an ad campaign to support our work on our website, we are using the "visitor action pixel" of Twitter Inc. 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. It allows us to track the actions of users who have seen or clicked on a Twitter ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Twitter advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Twitter, about which we inform you according to our level of knowledge. Twitter may connect this information to your Twitter account and use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Twitter's privacy policy https://twitter.com/privacy. You can enable Twitter and its partners to serve ads on and off Twitter. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.

14.4 Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager, a service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). The Google Tag Manager itself does not collect any personal data. The Tag Manager makes it easier for us to integrate and manage our tags. Tags are small code elements used, among other things, to measure traffic and visitor behavior, to measure the impact of online advertising and social channels, to set up remarketing and targeting, and to test and optimize websites. If you have opt-out of personalized advertising from Google, Google Tag Manager will take that opt-out into account. 14.5 Google Adwords and Conversion-Tracking

In order to draw attention to our promotions, we place Google AdWords ads and use Google Conversion Tracking. These ads appear after searches on Google Network web pages (https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/1752334?hl=en). We have the possibility to combine our ads with certain search terms. We also use AdWords remarketing lists for wanted ads (https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2701222?hl=en). This allows us to customize search ad campaigns for users who have visited our website before. The services allow us to combine our ads with certain search terms or to place ads for previous visitors, in which, for example, services are advertised that the visitors have viewed on our website.

For interest-related offers, an analysis of online user behavior is necessary. Google uses cookies to perform this analysis. When you click on an ad or visit our website, Google sets a cookie on your computer. This information is used to specifically address the visitor in a later search query.

Further information on the cookie technology used can also be found in Google's notes on website statistics (http://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html) and in the data protection regulations (http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/).

With the help of this technology, Google and we as customers receive information that a user clicked on an ad and was redirected to our websites. The information obtained in this way is used exclusively for statistical evaluation for ad optimization. We do not receive any information with which visitors can be personally identified. The statistics provided by Google contain the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and, if applicable, whether they were forwarded to a page of our website with a conversion tag. On the basis of these statistics we can trace the search terms for which our advertisement was clicked particularly often and which advertisements lead to contact by the user via the contact form.

If you do not wish to do so, you can prevent the storage of the cookies required for these technologies, e.g. via the settings of your browser. In this case, your visit will not be included in the user statistics.

You can also use the ad settings to select the types of Google ads or disable interest-based ads on Google (http://www.google.com/settings/ads?hl=en). Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies by third parties by calling the Network Advertising Initiative's disabling tool (http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/).

However, we and Google continue to receive statistical information on how many users had visited this page and when. If you do not wish to be included in these statistics either, you can prevent this by using additional programs for your browser (e.g. with the add-on Ghostery: http://www.ghostery.com/).

15 Data transmission 

A transfer of your data to third parties does not take place except in the cases mentioned above, unless we are legally obliged to do so, or the transfer of data is necessary for the execution of a contractual relationship or you have previously expressly consented to the transfer of your data.

External service providers and partner companies such as online payment providers or the shipping company commissioned with the delivery will only receive your data if this is necessary to process your request. In these cases, however, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the required minimum. As far as our external service providers come into contact with your personal data, we ensure within the scope of the order processing according to Art. 28 GDPR that these comply with the regulations of the data protection laws in the same way. Please also note the respective data protection information of the providers. The respective service provider is responsible for the content of external services, whereby we check the compliance of the services with the legal requirements within the scope of reasonableness.

It is important to us to process your data within the EU/EEA. However, we may use service providers who process data outside the EU/EEA. In such cases, we will ensure that an appropriate level of data protection is established at the recipient's premises before your personal data is transferred. This means that a data protection level comparable to the standards within the EU is achieved via EU standard contracts or an adequacy decision, such as the EU Privacy Shield.

16 Data Security and Data Management

The Centre for Political Beauty collects personal data from donors*in order to collect and administer donations and to prepare and carry out online activities. For example, we process your address for sending the revolutionaries. We also need your address to send you a donation receipt.

We use your address data only for accomplice service and information. If it is clear from the context of data collection that data is not absolutely necessary and is therefore not marked as mandatory data, such information is voluntary.

We assure you that we do not sell or rent your data to other companies or organisations in general address trading. Of course you have the right to stop the access of information to you at any time and to object to the use of your communication data for this purpose. Write to sayhello[at]politicalbeauty.de.

In order to fulfil our tasks and to ensure the security of our IT infrastructure, we must work together with service providers who may also receive personal data for this purpose. These service providers are contractually bound and may only use personal data they receive in this context for the permitted purpose (see point 15).

We have taken extensive technical and operational precautions to protect your data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) may be subject to security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

16.1 SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

17 Use of contact data

The use of the contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information material is hereby expressly prohibited. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example in the form of spam mails.

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your enquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) DSGVO) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time. The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

The rapid development on the Internet and in technical development requires from time to time adjustments and thus also supplements to our data protection declaration. You will be informed about the new features at this point.
